Jim Carrey's 24-year-old daughter Jane Carrey took time to audition for American Idol, one of the most irrelevant competition shows on TV right now. I love the fact that she wants to branch out on her own as an artist and not off the back of her father, but you should have tried some other direction than AI, who will exploit you for who your father is rather than your talent. Regardless, she definitely has talent and moved on to Hollywood week.
